Winding Down

Posted by on Feb 9, 2012 in The Essentials

Longtime followers of The Essentials will be happy to hear that the project is now winding down. Sort of. Rather, it’s basically out of my hands at this point. For the people on our Post-Production team, they’re finally firing on all cylinders. I’ve been asked by many, “Is it edited yet?” and could only nod enthusiastically then drop false release dates. Since I’ve jinxed every other one that has come before (first 11/11, then 2/10, recently 3/16, and until today 4/20), I will simply say “When It’s Done”… but it won’t take another 14 years. (bonus points for those who catch that). Before this summer though, I promise.

We had our big photo shoot for the Poster & Marketing materials last night and it went great. If this turns out to be the worst movie ever, I’m totally going to work toward modeling from here on because posing for pictures is just way too much fun. Most importantly, everyone else there looked like total stars and I think we’re going to have an awesome DVD cover (T-shirts, anyone?) to package the film with. Thanks to everyone for sticking together on this… I can’t wait for you all to finally see it hit the big screen. Nor can I wait to start scheming up the next one… đŸ˜‰

But this movie isn’t the only thing winding down for me. If you hadn’t already known or guessed by this point; my days on the East-side are numbered. College loans kick in full force next month and I’m probably not going to find an appropriate job anywhere around here, so if you want one last hurrah with the ol’ boy, we’ve gotta have it soon.

Hey bro, you give me a credit and I buy a t-shirt. Sounds like a deal to me! Good luck with the edit process, and keep us all posted.
